World No. 16 Ons Jaber of Tunisia advanced to the finals of the tournament in Chicago on a 6/4, 3/2 setback to Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, ranked No. 17 by the WTA.

In 52 minutes of play, the 27-year-old Jaber had one serve, no service errors and three break points, while the 22-year-old Rybakina served one service, made three double faults and had one break. Earlier the score in their personal meetings was 1-1.

In the final of the Chicago Fall Tennis Classic, Jaber will cross racquets with Spain’s Garbine Mugurusa.
