Table tennis equipment includes: A table tennis net consists of the net itself, the hanging cord and the support posts with attachment to the surface of the table. The top edge of the net should be at a height of 15,25 cm and the same amount should be protruding over the side lines of the table. The table tennis ball is made of celluloid or similar plastic. It should be a little more than 40 mm in diameter and painted white or orange. Two-color balls (white and orange) are currently being tested. Rackets are made of several layers of wood of different species and several layers of titanium (base), covered with one or two layers of special rubber (pads) on both sides. The rubber layer can be of two types – spiked inward (smooth) and spiked outward (spikes).
